Primrose Path is a
nursery in southwestern Pennsylvania that specializes in the breeding
and growing of Heuchera, coralbells; Heucherella, foamybells; and
Tiarella, foamflower. We are also doing breeding work on Phlox
and Arisaema. This section of our
website is to introduce gardeners to these plants, to show how they can
be grown and used in the garden, and to show off some of the best new
plants introduced by The Primrose Path.
We are giving general
background information on the origin and cultivation of these groups of
plants. We have also profiled individual named cultivars of
each group.
The profiles talk a little about the background of these varieties,
show how they look through the year, and give some suggestions about
how they can be used in the garden. A second set of pages is in the form of articles about garden topics, especially those of interest to gardeners in climates generally similar to ours. |
