Heuchera 'Purple Mountain Majesty'
'Purple Mountain Majesty' (PP#16,405) is one of our favorite new Heucheras. It has been more sun tolerant for us in the past several years than almost any of the other new heuchera hybrids.

Growth Habit - Compact mound of foliage to about 8" high X 12" wide. Very sturdy, erect flower stems to 18" to 24".

Foliage - The leaves are dark purple with light silver markings and form a dense clump. The undersides of the leaves are dark red-purple.

Flowers -
The creamy white flowers are almost globular in shape and about 1/2" long. Bloom time is May into June.

Special Features -
The good compact proportions of 'Purple Mountain Majesty' and its very erect growth habit make it an excellent choice for containers or for growing in a raised bed or rock garden.
