Tiarella 'Running Tiger' Tiarella 'Running Tiger' (PP#15,360) is a 2003 introduction selected for size, vigor, and a delayed running habit.

Growth Habit - This is a large, vigorous form that makes a clump 10" tall X 14" wide, with flower stems to 18".
'Running Tiger' maintains a clump-forming growth habit until it is a year or so old, when it makes 18" runners, spreading into a ground covering patch.

Foliage - The leaves are about 4" wide, deeply cut, and marked with maroon.

Flowers - The flowers are white and borne in mid spring.

Special Features - The delayed running trait of 'Running Tiger' allows it to be grown in trays of pots without the individual plants becoming a tangled mass.
